We Were All Made To CREATE​
In April 2016, at a Ladies Conference at her church in Barrie, Ontario, Lisa Jo Singh took part in a prophetic painting workshop, for fun. During that hour, she recognized that she and other women at the table were "afraid" to make a mistake with their paintings. The Pastor, who is an artist and was teaching the workshop, assured them that they couldn't make a mistake because it was art. She explained that if they were unhappy with something, they could simply paint over it once the paint dried.

Taking on the challenge, Lisa enjoyed the rest of the workshop, even witnessing a moment of healing for one of the women present, who had recently been widowed. Something leapt in her heart. She saw the opportunity for God to use art as a tool to heal women from heart wounds and to set them free from fear. She whispered to Him, "I could do this. I could teach this simple technique to other women in their homes, just like I did with Pampered Chef Parties". The next day, Lisa Jo went to the Dollar Store and purchased supplies for painting. The journey to Kingdom Creations had begun.

Lisa's true passion is to encourage others and give them hope. Painting, crocheting and making crafts have been tools that God has used to bring healing in Lisa's own life and she recognizes that while not everyone wants to make crafts all day long, every day, there is something life-giving that happens when we create. She has witnessed first hand how creating has released joy and hope into the hearts of women, increasing their self-esteem as life begins to flow through them once again!!!

Lisa Jo firmly believes that we were all made to CREATE as we have been made in the very image of God, the Creator. For some, it is crafts and painting and for others it might be cooking, gardening, creating organized spaces or numbers in a book. It could be writing, building a business or creating a family. However it manifests, we all create.

Kingdom Creations serves people with the opportunity to experience creativity in a non-threatening, non-judgmental space. Guests are encouraged to explore their imagination and be inspired to take a risk and try something new. We do not look for perfection; we look for growth through the process. Like life, it could get messy but that's ok, we take care of that too. We have fun, we learn, we grow, we experiment and we create.
